Achieving WCAG/ADA compliance for Alt Text across an always-changing retail website is tough when the online store carries thousands of SKUs and tens of images per SKU — a fast, AI-driven way to keep pace was needed.

Our Solution

A custom AI microservice that bridges a gap in the client's DAM: images are sent automatically on ingestion to an Azure-powered microservice using GPT-4.1 mini to generate precise, compliant Alt Text across all image types, with enriched metadata flowing downstream to the client's commerce platform and CMS.
