10x faster page loads across China

The Challenge

Sending data through China's firewall was crippling business systems, with network instability, latency, and lags accessing a global DAM hosted outside the region.

Our Solution

Partnered with Alibaba Cloud to remove latency, jitter, and packet loss using Alibaba Cloud Global Accelerator, binding the backend service to a Global Accelerator instance with bandwidth adjustable in real time.

Impacts

• 10x faster page loads, navigation, and search
• Wuhan page loads dropped from 2-3 minutes to 25 seconds
• Fast, predictable, stable uploads/downloads
